Jennifer Pifer has been handcrafting exceptional oboe reeds for over 20 years.  Each reed plays with ease for all ranges and styles of music.  The cane undergoes multiple soaking and drying stages to produce reliable pitch stability and a dark tone.  

Jennifer lives in Valdosta, GA with her husband and son.  She freelances on oboe and English horn with orchestras, such as the Albany Symphony, the Valdosta Symphony, and the Gulf Coast Sinfonia, and teaches oboe lessons in her private studio.  Her chamber music groups, the Duo Echo and the Auriga Quintet, perform at Recital Series throughout the United States.  In addition to music, Jennifer creates original artwork and craft items.

Jennifer studied oboe performance at Miami University with Andrea Ridilla and California Institute of the Arts with Alan Vogel.
